Aswad Abd Hamid has over 16 years of experience in mechanical maintenance engineering and asset integrity roles. Aswad currently works as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at E&P O&M Services Sdn Bhd (EPOMS) since January 2021. Previously, they were a Senior Maintenance Planning Engineer at Orpic from May 2017 to June 2019. Prior to that, Aswad worked at PETRONAS from October 2010 to March 2017, where they held positions as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Rotating Equipment) and an Asset Integrity Engineer (Rotating Equipment). Earlier in their career, they served as a Maintenance Engineer at Malaysia LNG Sdn Bhd from May 2005 to September 2010. Throughout their career, Aswad has demonstrated proficiency in executing maintenance strategies, developing maintenance plans, troubleshooting critical equipment, and implementing best practices to ensure plant reliability and availability. Aswad has also been responsible for monitoring budgets and performance metrics to optimize plant operations.
