Hasbi M.D. Jalal Fahmey

Hasbi Md Jalal Fahmey has a diverse range of work experience in the oil and gas industry. Hasbi began their career in 2008 with Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd, where they held various roles, including Senior Maintenance Engineer, Operation/Maintenance Supervisor, and Environment Executive. In these positions, they managed and coordinated asset reliability, maintenance, integrity activities, and supervised day-to-day operations. Hasbi also spearheaded projects related to biodiversity and conducted oil spill response exercises.

In 2014, Hasbi joined PETROFAC (MALAYSIA-PM 304) LIMITED as a Maintenance Engineer and later became a Maintenance Planner. Hasbi managed asset reliability, maintenance, and integrity activities, including planning and coordinating maintenance activities and serving as the administrator for the company's asset management system.

Hasbi then joined Ophir Production Sdn Bhd in 2017 as an Operation Engineer, where they coordinated production, maintenance, and asset integrity activities for various projects. Hasbi worked closely with the project team for facilities commissioning and start-up.

Their most recent position was with E&P O&M Services Sdn Bhd (EPOMS) as an Operations Superintendent and later as an Operations Manager. Hasbi managed field operations, ensured compliance with safety regulations, and established process safety best practices.

Throughout their career, Hasbi has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a commitment to safety and environmental management.

Hasbi Md Jalal Fahmey completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS from 2003 to 2008.
