Nawruz Ong

Nawruz Ong's work experience begins in 1999 as an Assistant Chief Library Assistant at APIIT. Continuing to 2004, they worked as a Service Request Administrator - Print Services at Hewlett-Packard, where they received recognition for outstanding performance. From 2006 to 2007, they held various roles at HP, including Wintel Technology Team Lead, Critical Incident Manager, and GCM Shift Management team. Starting in 2008, Nawruz joined Hitachi Data Systems as a Configuration Strategist and later became the Manager for the Southern Europe region. In 2014, they transitioned to Digital Data Distribution Sdn Bhd as a Product Manager cum Post Sales. Following this, Nawruz worked at Innovix Distribution as a Presales Consultant and Mirai Tech Solutions Sdn Bhd as a Technical Sales Consultant. Most recently, in 2019, they joined Hitachi Vantara as a Senior Customer Engineer - Specialist. Since 2023, Nawruz has served as the Head of Digital at E&P O&M Services Sdn Bhd (EPOMS).

Nawruz Ong attended the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU / APIIT) from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained their BSc. in Computing. In terms of additional certifications, Nawruz Ong has completed various courses such as the Clustered Data ONTAP Installation Workshop, NetApp Clustered Data ONTAP Administration 8.3, and NetApp Data ONTAP Data Protection, all from NetApp. Nawruz also obtained certifications from Pure Storage, including the Pure Storage Authorized Support Center and Pure Storage Authorized Support Partner. Furthermore, Nawruz Ong has the NetApp Accredited Technical Sales Professional certification and the Pure Accredited Sales Expert (PASE) and Pure Accredited Technical Specialist certifications from Pure Storage.
