Colin White is an experienced Engineering Manager currently overseeing long-term asset integrity at Langage Power Station, a 900MW CCGT facility with EP UK Investments Ltd since September 2015. Prior to this role, Colin served as Engineering Manager for two significant new build power projects in Saudi Arabia while at Pöyry, which included a 1200MW CCGT and a 2400MW super critical oil-fired power station. Colin's background includes various leadership positions at E.ON UK, where responsibilities ranged from overseeing a multi-million-pound retrofit project to managing the engineering integrity of 13 CHP plants. Initial career experience was gained at Powergen, with Colin working on plant performance and condition monitoring, as well as day-to-day operations of a 900MW CCGT power station. Colin holds a PgCert in Risk & Safety Management from Liverpool John Moores University and is pursuing an MSc in Project Management from The University of Manchester, with a prior degree in Engineering with Business Studies from Sheffield Hallam University.
