Felipe Jochims has a diverse work experience in research and academia. Felipe started their career as a student at Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, pursuing a Master's degree in 2006. Felipe then went on to complete their Ph.D. in Zootecnia at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul from 2008 to 2012. Following this, Felipe worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at EMBRAPA CPPSUL - UFSM, focusing on experiments with cattle and sheep grazing methods and their impact on the ecological and physiological characteristics of native species. Felipe also conducted research on the morphogenesis and tissue flow of native grasses in the Pampa biome. Felipe's most recent role was as a Researcher at EPAGRI since 2014, where they are involved in agricultural research and statistical analysis using SAS and MULTIV.

Felipe Jochims completed their education in the field of animal production and forage. Felipe started their academic journey in 2000 at Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, where they pursued a degree in Zootecnista. Felipe successfully completed this degree in 2005. Later, in 2008, Felipe joined Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul to pursue further education in the same field. Felipe obtained a Doctorate in Zootecnia with a specialization in animal production, specifically in ruminants, in 2012.
