Tom Cowan

Tom Cowan has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Tom started their career at VGI Consulting as a Mechanical Project Engineer, where they worked on projects such as SNI Pipeline, GNP Pipeline, and Meydustria Network Upgrade. In 2011, they joined WorleyParsons as a Senior Project Engineer and handled projects like Rompco Loop Line, Saldanha LNG Import, and Tanzania Gas Pipeline. Tom then moved on to become the CEO of EPCM Holdings in 2019, after previously serving as a Director. Tom also had their own business, @Tom Clothing, where they were the owner from 2005 to 2016.

Tom Cowan has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pretoria, which they obtained from 2005 to 2008. Tom pursued further studies at the University of Pretoria from 2010 to 2011 and received a B.Hon degree in Technology Management. Later, from 2013 to 2015, Tom attended Wits Business School where they completed their MBA. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Professional Engineer from the Engineering Council of South Africa in 2016.
