John Kmitta

John Kmitta has over 20 years of work experience. John started their career at Nippon Express as an Export Documentation Agent, where they arranged international ocean cargo shipments and handled paperwork for shipping. John then joined Lakeland Media as a Staff Reporter, where they wrote numerous articles for community newspapers and covered various editorial topics, including local government news and election night coverage. Currently, they are working at EPG Brand Acceleration as an Associate Publisher/Editorial Brand Director, responsible for editing and overseeing multiple publications.

John Kmitta obtained their A.A. degree from William Rainey Harper College from 1992 to 1994. John then went on to earn a B.S. degree in Journalism from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, completing their studies from 1994 to 1996.
