Ralf Müller

Ralf Müller has extensive experience in product management and technology roles. Ralf is currently the Chief Product & Technology Officer at EPI Company SE, where they have been working since July 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Product & Engineering at the same company from July 2022 to June 2023 and Head of Product from December 2020 to June 2022.

Before joining EPI Company SE, Müller had their own consulting business called Ralf Müller Product Management Consulting, where they worked as a Senior Product Management Professional since September 2011. During this time, they freelanced as a CPO, Head of Product, Sr. Product Manager, and Product Owner for various digital products in industries such as Media, Entertainment, Sports, Telco, eCommerce, and FinTech.

Müller also gained experience working in the sports industry, serving as a Sr. Product Owner at FIFA from October 2020 to February 2021 and UEFA from April 2015 to December 2020. At UEFA, they led the development of web/mobile apps and games and was responsible for upgrading editorial tools for competitions like the Champions League and EURO 2016 & 2020.

Prior to their consulting career, Müller worked as a Product Management Consultant at HEAD from October 2015 to February 2018. Ralf also held roles such as Senior Product Manager at NicheStreem from November 2014 to December 2017, where they contributed to the concept and specification of a music streaming service targeting niche audiences, and as a Product Management Consultant at QTixx GmbH from July 2014 to December 2016, where they advised on product management and agile software development for event ticketing clients.

Earlier in their career, Müller worked as a Product Management Consultant at Medios AG - Specialty Pharma Solutions from March 2014 to May 2015, a Product Strategist at SPORT1 GmbH in March 2014, and a Senior Advisor at Sony from January 2014 to April 2014.

Ralf Müller completed their Abitur at the 53. Oberschule - Gymnasium Leipzig from 1981 to 1993. Ralf then pursued a degree in Banking, Business & Economics at the Berufsschule für Bankkaufleute München from 1993 to 1996.
