Andrés Anzola, Ph.D. has held various roles in the field of chemical engineering since 2003. In 2003, they were an Access Control at Corferias. From 2007 to 2008, they were a Research Engineer at Colcarbon S.A. and a Consultant at Universidad Incca de Colombia. From 2008 to 2010, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at PLAPIQUI-UNS-CONICET, and from 2010 to 2012, they were a Teaching Assistant at Universidad Nacional del Sur. In 2012, they were an Invited Researcher at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Since 2019, they have been a Lead Chemist at Epic-Aerospace, where they have developed the process for concentrating commercially available hydrogen peroxide to rocket-grade, operated the distillation set up, and been involved in expansion planning toward the first flight and processes improvement.
Andrés Anzola, Ph.D. completed their Pre-grade in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de América in 2000-2001. Andrés then pursued their Chemical Engineer degree from Universidad Nacional de Colombia from 2001-2006. From 2008-2014 they completed their Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Nacional del Sur. Additionally, they completed their German A2 (Common european reference) from Sociedad Escolar Alemana in 2009-2010.
