Rebecca Sopchik

Rebecca Sopchik is currently the Director of Finance and Administration at Epic Foundation since 2022. Rebecca previously worked at Sustainable Development Solutions Network from 2013 to 2022, where they held various roles including Director of Finance and Operations, Head of Finance and Administration, Financial & Administrative Manager, and Administrative Coordinator. Prior to that, they were a Residence Coordinator at St. John's University in 2012, teaching intermediate and advanced French as a Teaching Fellow at Columbia University from 2009 to 2011, and as a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis from 2005 to 2007.

Rebecca Sopchik has an extensive education history in the field of French language and literature. Rebecca completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in French Language and Literature and Psychology at Washington University in St. Louis from 1999 to 2003. Rebecca then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in French Language and Literature from the same university from 2005 to 2007.

Rebecca continued their education at Columbia University, where they obtained a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in French Language and Literature from 2008 to 2011. Rebecca also pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in French & Romance Philology at Columbia University from 2008 to 2014. Additionally, they spent the academic year 2010-2011 as a resident foreign exchange student at the Ecole normale supérieure.

In addition to their academic achievements, Rebecca Sopchik has obtained a Certificate in Business Accountant from Francis Lefebvre Formation in May 2021.
