Saraswathi “Vani” Balgam

Saraswathi "Vani" B. is a Creative Program Director at Epic Games since February 2021, leading the Women Creators Program in Unreal Engine Fortnite. Vani has also served as a mentor for the Unreal Fellowship for Virtual Production and participated as a fellow in the same program, where an original music video titled "Jeet" was created. As the CEO and Creative Director of Dancing Atoms, a boutique development studio, Vani focuses on storytelling through diverse creative voices. Vani holds the position of President Emeritus at ASIFA India, promoting animation and VFX filmmaking in the country. Previous experience includes head of creative management roles at DreamWorks Animation and Pearl Studio in China, as well as executive director at Rhythm & Hues, where Vani managed significant VFX projects, contributing to Academy Award-winning films. Vani's extensive background in production and development spans multiple studios, enhancing the VFX and animation landscape in both India and globally.
