Sydney Kurland

Sydney Kurland is an experienced youth programs counselor and performer with a strong background in theater and community engagement. Currently serving as a Youth Programs Counselor at The Brooklyn Strategist since January 2024, Sydney leads tabletop game classes and facilitates birthday parties while handling front desk responsibilities. Since August 2022, Sydney has been actively involved with EPIC Players Inclusion Company as a company member, teaching artist, and assistant teaching artist, contributing to various productions and supporting youth theater programs. Prior experience includes roles at Playwrights Horizons as a Community Engagement Assistant and Greenwich House as a Youth Community Center Activity Leader, demonstrating a commitment to youth education and creative arts. Sydney holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dramatic Writing from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
