The team at Epicore Biosystems has a long history in the field of wearable technology and sensors. They have been involved with companies such as Sensors MDPI, Rhaeos, and Wearifi, Inc., and have advised the University of Vermont's BME Department. The team's educational background is in bioelectrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology.
