Mary loves heirloom crops, the Slow Food movement, and gets excited about fantastic food prepared the right way. Mary began her food service career in 1981 after having graduated from The California Hotel and Restaurant Management program in Santa Barbara, CA. She later attended The University of California, Santa Barbara, majoring in Business. She furthered advanced her business expertise in Applied Economics at the University of San Francisco and completed the Leadership Program at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business in 2002. Mary worked for one of the large food service companies, specializing in opening both Education and Corporate food service accounts. She managed over 20M in education and corporate accounts before finally settling in the Bay Area. She believes that good people and good food make the difference in food service. She is involved with every Epicurean Group account, and she enjoys being personally engaged with each and every client.
