Hans-Michael Thiede

Hans-Michael Thiede has over 20 years of work experience in research and development companies. Hans-Michael started their career in 2001 as CEO and Shareholder at Thanares GmbH, a Potsdam-based research and development company specializing in bioanalytics and phytomedicinal research. Thanares focuses on finding new leads for the detection, prevention, and treatment of chronic and neurodegenerative diseases. Hans-Michael offers Thanares' expertise to companies working in the same field and develops methods for the quantitative determination of phytochemicals and their metabolites in biological specimens.

In 2009, Hans-Michael joined epinamics GmbH as CSO and Shareholder. Based in Berlin, epinamics is a research and development company that specializes in an innovative drug delivery technology for dermal and transdermal applications of cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and veterinary products. The company's Liqui-Patch platform technology allows for the effective formulation and delivery of pharmaceutical ingredients in high concentrations and low volume. Compared to current patch or gel-based products, Liqui-Patch offers improved safety, efficacy, cosmetic acceptability, and metered dosing. Hans-Michael plays a key role in developing and implementing this technology at epinamics.

Hans-Michael Thiede completed their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at Freie Universität Berlin, with their education lasting until 1981.
