David L. Horwitz

Dr. David Horwitz has over 40 years of experience in the field of diabetes and endocrinology. His clinical and academic career includes faculty positions in the medical schools at the University of Chicago and the University of Illinois, where he was a clinical professor of medicine and adjunct associate professor of nutrition and medical dietetics. In addition to teaching and patient care, David acted as Global Chief Medical Officer of the Johnson and Johnson Diabetes Institute and as Vice President, Worldwide Clinical Affairs & Evidence-Based Medicine at LifeScan, Inc.
