Seohyun Shim

Seohyun "Zoe" Shim is a skilled Research Engineer at Epinex Diagnostics, Inc. since November 2019, leading the R&D of cutting-edge diagnostic devices for diabetes monitoring and INR measurement. With prior experience as a Research Associate and Research Intern at UC Irvine, Seohyun developed an optogenetic platform and managed research teams. Other roles include conducting DNA mobility experiments at Seagate Technology and performing single molecule spectroscopy at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology. Seohyun holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from UC Irvine and a Bachelor of Science in Nanophysics from Sookmyung Women's University, complemented by a certificate in Biology from Mount Holyoke College.
