Franklyn Smith has extensive work experience in the power and energy industry. Franklyn started their career as a Research Engineer at the University of Central Florida in 2002 and worked there until 2008. After that, they held various roles at SunEdison for almost 10 years. In 2017, they became the Owner/Advisor at Solenergy Solutions, LLC until 2020. Franklyn then joined EaglePicher Technologies as a Program Manager from 2018 to 2021. In 2021, they worked at Ohmium as the VP of Global Field Services until joining NexGen Power Systems as the Director of Corporate Development and Government Relations, where they worked until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Commercial Power Products at Epirus starting from June 2023.
Franklyn Smith has a BS and MS degree in Chemical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology. Franklyn also studied Physics/Chemistry at the University of The Bahamas.
