Maggie Burkle

Maggie Burkle, LMFT, is a 2011 graduate of CIIS in the Drama Therapy Program and has worked at ECS for 11 years, both in Behavioral Health and the Housing Department. As a mental and behavioral health professional and a white, cis-gender, queer woman, she consciously centers an anti-racist, anti-oppression deconstruction of psychology and therapeutic practices. Maggie also provides workshops for Staff and consumers on Gender Expression – to explore the ways everyone is experiencing gender so that ECS programs can be a safer place for transgender, agender, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming people.
