Sergio Lopez

Sergio Lopez is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in nonprofit financial management. Currently serving as Vice President Finance at Episcopal Relief & Development since April 2022, Sergio oversees financial activities including budgeting, accounting, and financial risk management. Prior to this role, Sergio held various positions at the International Youth Foundation, culminating as Director of Global Finance & Administration, where responsibilities included full-cycle financial reporting and the development of financial management systems. Early career highlights include positions at Youth:Works Mexico and Delphi, where Sergio focused on accounts payable and asset management. Sergio holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey and has further education credentials from the University of California, Berkeley.
