Luis Aguirre

Luis Aguirre has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and research. Luis started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa - FCT NOVA in 2012. In this role, they conducted experimental research on properties of (Acetoxypropyl)Cellulose (APC) mono and multilayers using Langmuir and Langmuir-Blodgett techniques. Luis also conducted research on the order structure of biaxial nematic liquid crystal micro-droplets suspended in micro-fibers. Additionally, Luis was involved in teaching and coaching university students during this time.

In 2015, Luis joined Linköpings universitet as a Postdoc. Here, they continued their research work, focusing on projects such as the synthesis of nanoparticles and their characterization. Luis held this role until 2017, when they were promoted to Principal Research Engineer. As a Principal Research Engineer, Luis was responsible for leading and managing research projects, in addition to conducting their own research. Luis held this position until October 2019.

Most recently, Luis Aguirre joined Epishine in 2018 as a Senior Process Development Engineer. Details about their specific role and responsibilities at Epishine are not provided, but they are still currently employed with the company.

Luis Aguirre completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics from Universidad Nacional de Catamarca between 1999 and 2005. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba between 2006 and 2011.
