Katherine McKee Hamilton

Katherine McKee Hamilton has over 20 years of experience in the fields of data protection, regulatory analysis, AML/KYC, technical writing, and project management. Katherine McKee began their career as a Senior Consultant at Ergosoft Laboratories, Inc. in 1999, where they implemented and managed consulting projects for various clients. In 2005, they joined NetSpend Corporation as a Technical Writer and Project Manager, where they wrote and maintained technical and policy documentation in a PCI DSS-compliant environment. Hamilton then moved to MPOWER Labs in 2008 as an Independent Contractor, where they wrote policy documents, business cases, and due diligence packages, and managed the company's first Level 1 PCI DSS audit. In 2009, they took on the role of Regulatory Compliance Lead at Ráv Worldwide, where they wrote and maintained information security and regulatory compliance policies. In 2012, Hamilton joined paysafecard as a Director of Compliance and AML/CTF Specialist, where they wrote and maintained policy documents, prepared regulatory analyses for senior management, and reviewed and remediated internal draft Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs). Most recently, in 2022, Hamilton became the DPO and Compliance Manager at Episode Six.

Katherine McKee Hamilton attended Rice University from 1989 to 1994. Katherine McKee then attended Texas A&M University-Commerce, but did not pursue a degree. In October 2011, they obtained a PRINCE2 Practitioner certification from APMG-International.
