Andrew Lane has a diverse work experience that spans different industries and roles. Andrew started their career at PwC as a Senior Associate from September 2012 to September 2014. Andrew then joined King's College London as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from September 2016 to June 2019 while pursuing their PhD. Andrew's interest in data science led him to work as a Data Scientist at Sandtable, initially starting as an intern and later transitioning to a full role. During their time at Sandtable from April 2019 to November 2019, Andrew gained experience in using agent-based models (ABMs) in industry to solve clients' business problems. Currently, Andrew is employed at Epistemix as the Director of Data Science, a position they took on in December 2021.
Andrew Lane has a strong academic background in science and mathematics. From 2009 to 2012, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics and Philosophy from King's College London. Building upon this foundation, they pursued further education at the same institution. In 2014, Andrew obtained a certification as an ACL Certified Data Analyst from ACL. Andrew then went on to complete a Master's Degree in MSc Complex Systems Modelling in 2015 and an MSc in Non-Equilibrium Systems in 2016, both at King's College London. Finally, Andrew Lane achieved their highest level of education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Landscape Ecology and Non-Equilibrium Statistical Mechanics from King's College London in 2019.
