Murugappan Ramasamy

Murugappan Ramasamy has extensive work experience at Essel Propack Limited, starting in 1996. Murugappan began as the Senior Vice President for Operations and Supply Chain, before later becoming the Director of Corporate Affairs and then the Chief Technology Officer. In 2004, they joined Essel Propack Ltd as the Director of Manufacturing and Technology. Murugappan was later promoted to the position of Director of Technology and New Projects. In 2008, they returned to Essel Propack Limited as President for the Americas and EAP regions, and then for the AMESA and EAP regions. In 2012, they became the President for International Business, Supply Chain, and Technology globally, and in 2015, they were appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of the company.

Murugappan Ramasamy completed a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Polymers from Annamalai University from 1975 to 1980. Murugappan then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Plastics Engineering from the University of Madras in 1980-1981. In 1998, they attended the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad for a Certificate Course in Logistics & Supply Chain Management. Finally, from 2000 to 2003, they obtained an eMBA degree from Lansbridge University, focusing on Business/Managerial Economics, Finance, Marketing, and International Business.
