Michael Giordano

Michael Giordano, CISSP, CISM has over two decades of experience in the technology and cybersecurity industry. Michael is currently working as a Client Security Principal at ePlus inc. In their previous role as Director, Client Solutions at Optiv, they led a national team and was responsible for recruiting, mentoring, and training new advisors. Michael also served as an escalation point for customer issues, ensuring customer satisfaction. Prior to that, they were the Director of Cybersecurity & Risk Services at DynTek, where they transformed the security practice into a strategic advisory group and improved the ability to win and deliver successful engagements. Michael also led technology and security functions as an Information Technology Manager at ATANE, implementing improved security and privacy controls aligned with NIST CSF. Michael began their career as a System Administrator at STORIS, Inc. and Advanced Systems Concepts, Inc. and worked as a Senior System Engineer at Link High Technologies. Michael has extensive experience in infrastructure upgrades, security audits, system hardening, and firewall standardization.

Michael Giordano, CISSP, CISM graduated from the University of Hartford with a degree in Computer Science. Michael obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in June 2017. Additionally, they earned the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) certification from ISACA in 2021.
