Mary Hallan-FioRito is an accomplished attorney, writer, and public speaker with extensive experience in issues related to the Catholic Church, women's rights, abortion, contraception, and religious liberty. Since May 2017, Mary has served as the Cardinal Francis George Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center and the deNicola Center for Ethics and Culture at Notre Dame. In addition, Mary has been a Fellow at Human Life Action since December 2018 and serves as an Advisor at the University of Notre Dame de Nicola Center for Ethics and Culture. Mary’s previous roles include Permanent Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, Executive Assistant to the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Chicago, and Vice-Chancellor of the Archdiocese. Mary holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a B.A. in English Literature from Loyola University Chicago. Mary is also a Fellow of Leadership Greater Chicago.
