Enrico Jakobi has extensive experience in the field of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management. Enrico has held various leadership roles in prominent companies within the renewable energy sector.
From 2010 to 2012, Enrico worked as an HSE Manager at Nordex Energy GmbH. Enrico then joined Vattenfall Europe Windkraft GmbH in 2012, where they served as an HSE Manager for offshore wind parks and later became the HSS Team Lead for Project Development in Continental UK.
In 2015, Enrico joined Nordex / Acciona Windpower as the Global HSE-Manager for Project Execution. In this role, they were responsible for all HSE-related topics and successfully implemented several initiatives, including a unified permit to work system, a contractor management concept, and an HSE IT tool.
Enrico joined the Eppendorf Group in 2018 as the Head of Global Health, Safety & Environment. Enrico later became the Global Head of Sustainability & HSE, where they established and led the central sustainability and HSE team.
Throughout their career, Enrico Jakobi has demonstrated strong leadership skills, a commitment to improving HSE performance, and a track record of implementing successful HSE initiatives in various organizations.
Enrico Jakobi has a diverse education history with a focus on sustainability and management. In 2023, they completed the INSEAD Business Sustainability Programme. Prior to that, in 2022, they obtained a degree in Strategic Management from SGMI Management Institut St. Gallen. From 2017 to 2019, Enrico attended Elbcampus, where they earned a degree as a certified business economist. Additionally, they obtained several certifications in the field of occupational safety, environmental auditing, and quality management from Elbcampus in 2009. In 2013, they received a certification in safety and health coordination from Tüv Rheinland Akademie. Enrico's education also includes a state-certified technician degree in environmental protection technology from Fachschule für Umwelttechnik, Hamburg, which they completed from 2004 to 2006. Enrico has recently obtained a certification in the INSEAD Business Sustainability Programme.
