Carolyn Wormser has over 30 years of work experience, starting in 1987 as a Senior Communications Specialist at Point Loma Federal Credit Union. In 1990, they joined the City of San Diego and spent almost three decades as the Special Events & Filming Department Director. During this time, they grew the department significantly, managing over 2,750 permitted event and filming dates with an estimated annual attendance of 10 million people. Carolyn also represented the City at various international events. In 2020, they became the Director of Championship Relationships at the United States Golf Association (USGA), where they built partnerships and teams for the U.S. Open Championship at Torrey Pines. In 2021, they joined Eproval as the Chief Innovation Officer, working with local government and regional agency clients to implement innovative event permitting software.
Carolyn Wormser has a Master of Arts in Management from the University of Redlands School of Business & Society. Carolyn also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Occidental College.
