Melissa Rebecca Prim

Melissa Rebecca Prim has extensive experience in child welfare and counseling, currently serving as a Foster Parent with Connie Maxwell Children's Ministries since September 2022. Since August 2015, Melissa has been a Volunteer Assistant to the Chaplain at the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice, while also offering various services through different organizations, including serving as a SCDJJ Volunteer at the National Youth Advocate Program and as a House Parent at The Boys Farm. Previous roles include acting as a Pregnancy Counselor at Bethany Christian Services and as a DSS Kinship Home Study Investigator. Melissa has also contributed as a Family Engagement Coordinator, focusing on bridging connections between families and the Department of Social Services in child protective custody cases. Educational qualifications include multiple degrees in psychology and interdisciplinary studies from Liberty University, emphasizing crisis and Christian counseling.
