Dianna Gu

Dianna Gu has extensive work experience in the legal field, with a focus on corporate governance and risk. Dianna currently holds the position of General Counsel and Group Director of Corporate Governance and Risk at Epworth. Additionally, they work as an Art Curator at the same company.

Prior to their current role, Dianna worked at Healthscope as Senior Legal Counsel and Deputy Company Secretary from 2020 to 2021, and as Senior Legal Counsel from 2016 to 2020.

Dianna also gained experience as a Senior Commercial Lawyer at AusNet Services from 2015 to 2016, and as a Commercial Lawyer from 2012 to 2015.

Dianna started their legal career at Hunt & Hunt, where they held various roles including Associate from 2011 to 2012, Lawyer from 2009 to 2011, Articled Clerk from 2008 to 2009, and Paralegal from 2007 to 2008.

Dianna began their professional journey as a Legal Assistant at Rampart Legal in 2007.

Dianna also served as a Human Resource Officer at Maurice Alexander Management Pty Ltd from 2004 to 2006.

Dianna Gu has a diverse and extensive education history. In 2001-2002, they obtained an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Ivanhoe Grammar School. Dianna continued their studies at the University of Melbourne, where they earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they completed another LLB degree at the University of Nottingham in 2005. Dianna then pursued their interest in business by obtaining multiple degrees from prestigious institutions, including a Master of Marketing from Melbourne Business School (2013-2014) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from both Melbourne Business School (2013-2015) and Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management (2015). Furthermore, they further enhanced their knowledge and skills in governance by completing a Certificate in Governance Practice from the Governance Institute of Australia (2018-2019) and a GAICD from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (2019).
