Ariful Islam

Ariful Islam has a diverse work experience in various industries in Bangladesh. Ariful worked as the Head of Operations at Epyllion Group, overseeing strategic business units such as Carton, Poly and plastic, Narrow Fabric, and Printing Press. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Production, Planning & Supply at Walton Digi-Tech Industries Ltd., where they managed the production of computer projects. Ariful also worked at Dutch Bangla Pack Ltd. as a Production Manager and a Production Engineer, where they supervised and monitored various sections of the manufacturing process.

Ariful Islam graduated from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology in 2014 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE). Prior to that, they attended DRMC - Dhaka Residential Model College from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained their Higher Secondary Certificate in Science. Before that, from 2005 to 2007, they completed their Secondary School Certificate in Science at the same institution.

In addition to their formal education, Ariful Islam has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they received the International Certificate in Supply Chain Management from the International Trade Centre. In 2017, they completed a certification in Project Management from stc bangladesh and became a Certified Lean Manager (CLM) through ADD-VALUE CONSULTING. Ariful also attained certifications as an Internal Auditor for various management systems, including Environment Management System (EMS 14001), Occupational Health & Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS 18001), Quality Management System (QMS ISO 9001), Social Accountability (SA 8000), and Food Safety Management System (FSMS ISO 22001). The institutions where these certifications were obtained include iota Consulting BD and Bureau Veritas Group. Furthermore, in 2014, Ariful Islam completed a course on Supply Chain Management: A Learning Perspective from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
