Darren Barsby

Darren Barsby has extensive work experience in various industries. Darren is currently serving as the Head of International Business Development at EQL since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Solutions Architect at Johnson & Johnson from January 2020 to November 2021. Darren also worked as a Commercial and Business Development Consultant on a freelance basis from July 2019 to January 2020.

In previous roles, Darren served as a Senior Programme Manager at Macmillan Cancer Support from June 2018 to July 2019 and as a Principal Programme Manager at AgeUK from August 2017 to June 2018. Darren also held the position of Commercial Director at Berendsen from May 2015 to January 2017.

Before that, Darren worked as the Head of Commercial Development at Synergy Healthcare Services, LLC from December 2004 to May 2015. Darren also served as an IT Consultant at Tesco PLC in 2004.

Darren's career began at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) where they worked as the Head of Professional Networks from August 2002 to March 2004. Darren also worked as a Production Manager at Pitney Bowes Ltd from January 1999 to January 2002.

Darren Barsby attended the University of Hertfordshire from 1991 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree with honors in Manufacturing Systems Engineering. During their time at the university, they also completed their A Levels in Physics, Electronics & Technology, and Mathematics and obtained a GCSE qualification.
