Richard Lawrence

Richard Lawrence has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Richard is currently employed as the Head of Data Science and Analytics at EQL Finance, a position they have held since January 2022. Before that, Richard worked as a self-employed Data Science Consultant from March 2019 to the present.

From December 2015 to February 2019, Richard served as a Senior Data Scientist at Axel Springer SE. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist at freenet digital from May 2013 to November 2015. Additionally, Richard worked in film and TV production as a freelancer from 2011 to 2012.

Richard also has experience as a Project Coordinator at College Battle of the Bands from January to October 2011, and as a Research Assistant at the University of South Florida's Civil and Environmental Engineering Department from January to May 2010.

Furthermore, Richard contributed to Engineers Without Borders as a Project Engineer from 2008 to 2010. In this role, they were responsible for raising funds, designing, and constructing a groundwater access and distribution system in the community of Miramar, Dominican Republic.

Richard's early work experience includes research assistant positions at the University of Florida's Biophotonics Imaging Therapeutics and Sensing Laboratory (2007-2008), Civil and Environmental Engineering Department (2006-2007), and Electrical Engineering Department (2006), as well as a teaching assistant position at the Civil Engineering Department (2005-2006).

Richard Lawrence has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida. Richard also holds a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of South Florida.
