Bastian Halbach

Bastian Halbach has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Bastian is currently working at EQS Group as the Director of Strategic Compliance Business. Prior to that, they held positions at A.P. Moller - Maersk, where they served as the Director of Compliance Operations and the Head of Compliance Programme Implementation. In these roles, they were responsible for leading teams, implementing compliance programs, and driving digitalization initiatives. Before Maersk, Bastian worked at Deloitte as a Manager in Compliance Advisory, focusing on digitalization and SaaS projects. Bastian also has experience as a Project Manager at APMT, a Maersk company, and as a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting. In addition to their corporate experience, Bastian has prior internships at Rabobank and PwC, as well as military service in the German Federal Armed Forces.

Bastian Halbach has a varied and extensive education history. In 2007, they began their undergraduate studies at Utrecht University, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Economics & Business through the Honors Program in cooperation with LUISS Business School in Rome, Italy.
