Hemant Sharma is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment banking and corporate finance. Serving as Managing Director at EQT Group since January 2015, Hemant has a strong track record in leading transactions and client relationships. Previously, Hemant held the position of Vice President at Barclays Capital from June 2010 to December 2014, specializing in sectors such as auto & auto components, oil & gas, metals & mining, and chemicals, where Hemant executed numerous M&A and capital market transactions. Earlier roles at Barclays included Analyst and Summer Associate, focusing on capital raising and financial solutions. Hemant's career commenced at Oracle as an Applications Engineer. Hemant holds an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
