Reserves Engineer - Asset Performance at EQT Corporation

Jeff Haines has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Jeff started their career as a High School Mathematics Teacher at Deer Park ISD in 2008. Jeff then worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Connecticut from 2009 to 2011.

In 2011, Jeff joined EnerVest, Ltd. as an Engineering Technician, where they maintained the ARIES reserves database for over 4,000 properties.

In 2014, they joined LINN Energy, LLC as a Sr. Engineering Tech, managing the ARIES database for Permian Basin assets. Jeff also served as an Engineering Analyst, providing economic support and generating monthly reports. Later, they became a Petroleum Engineer, providing production and reservoir engineering support to a diverse asset in the Permian Basin.

From 2017 to 2018, Jeff worked at Seaport Global Holdings LLC as a Reservoir Engineer, preparing technical marketing materials for various plays across the U.S.

From 2018 to 2020, they worked at Sheridan Production Company as a Reservoir Engineer, updating reserves for review and maintaining a corporate ARIES database.

In 2020, Jeff joined Alta Resources, L.L.C. as a Reservoir Engineer, where they supported reserve reporting, fair market value, and planning initiatives.

Currently, they are working at EQT Corporation as a Reserves Engineer, conducting engineering analysis, tracking well performance, and delivering technical and risk analysis for well proposals.

Overall, Jeff Haines has a strong background in reservoir engineering, reserve reporting, database management, and economic analysis in the energy industry.

Jeff Haines completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics at The University of Texas at Austin from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Financial Mathematics at the University of Connecticut from 2009 to 2011. Later, from 2013 to 2015, Jeff earned their Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
