Tom Torchia

Tom Torchia, PHR, SHRM-CP has extensive experience in the field of total rewards and compensation. Tom is currently serving as the Director of Total Rewards at EQT Corporation since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager of Global Compensation at Ansys from April 2021 to June 2022.

From 2014 to 2021, Tom held various roles at MSA - The Safety Company. Tom started as a Benefits Compliance Analyst in May 2014 and later transitioned to the role of Benefits Analyst III in December 2015. From April 2017 to September 2019, they served as the Equity and Executive Compensation Lead. Tom then took on the role of Compensation Manager from September 2019 to April 2021.

Before joining MSA, Tom worked at Buck Consultants at Xerox as a Senior Associate in the Compliance Consulting Center from March 2011 to March 2013. Tom then became a Consultant in the same center from March 2013 to May 2014.

Tom began their career as a Pension Administrator at Pension Plans Associates Inc. in January 2005 and worked there until April 2006. Tom then joined BNY Mellon as a Benefits Administrator II from May 2006 to March 2011.

Tom Torchia, PHR, SHRM-CP has a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Robert Morris University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Western Michigan University - Haworth College of Business from 2000 to 2004.

In terms of certifications, Tom obtained their Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in January 2011. Additionally, they became a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM in December 2015.
