Zachary Engle began their work experience in 2013 as an Engineering Technician at Artex Oil Company, where they worked until August 2014. Zachary then joined James Knobloch Petroleum Consultants, Inc. as a Lead Engineering Technician from January 2013 to May 2017. During this time, they conducted production and economic analyses, collaborated with management and executive teams, built and maintained a database of unconventional wells, and utilized Landmark ARIES for analyses.
In May 2017, Zachary joined Rice Energy as a Reservoir Engineering Technician, where they applied decline curve analysis to a large number of wells and led year-end reserves analysis for the EQT-RICE merger. Zachary achieved a variance of less than 2% between forecast and actual volumes and played a significant role in the merger process.
Currently, Zachary is employed at EQT Corporation since November 2017. Zachary started as an Engineering Technician II and has progressed to Engineering Specialist and currently holds the position of Engineer II. Zachary is a member of the Asset Performance Team and has focused on reserve evaluations and system forecasting.
Zachary Engle completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of North Dakota, where they attended from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Marietta College, which they attended from 2013 to 2017.
