Monica Wu

Monica Wu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Monica currently works as a Quality Engineer at Equal Experts, starting in February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Quality Engineer for John Lewis & Partner at the same company from April 2020 to January 2022.

Before their role at Equal Experts, Monica worked as a Test Engineer at VASTech from July 2011 to March 2020. Monica'sresponsibilities included creating test plans, analyzing test requirements, and deriving test cases.

Monica also worked as an RF Engineer at Tellumat (Pty) Limited from June 2007 to June 2011. In this role, they assisted senior RF engineers in the research, design, and development of a noise calibrator for the Karoo Array Telescope. Monica also prepared documentation and resolved technical problems for customer satisfaction.

Additionally, Monica has experience as a Technical Specialist at Intaba (Pty) Limited from October 2006 to May 2007, and as an RF Course Tutor at the University of Cape Town from February 2005 to July 2005.

Monica Wu obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc(Eng)) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, graduating in 2004. Monica went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc dissertation) in Electrical Engineering with a focus on RF & Microwave at the same institution, completing their degree in 2008. In addition to their formal education, Monica has obtained various certifications, including "End-to-End JavaScript Testing with Cypress.io," "Learning GDPR," "Accessibility for Web Design," "UX Foundations: Accessibility," "Avoiding Burnout," "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences," "Cybersecurity at Work," "Preventing Harassment in the Workplace," and "Supporting Your Mental Health While Working from Home." Monica also completed a Python for Everybody Specialization from Coursera Course Certificates in 2017.
