Sid Pinney

Sid Pinney has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Sid currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing in North America at Equal Experts, a global software consultancy. In this role, Sid is responsible for lead sourcing, partner engagement, and client acquisition. Prior to Equal Experts, Sid worked as the Chief Account Executive at Aviture, where they focused on developing business with enterprise clients and providing custom software solutions.

Before that, Sid served as an Enterprise Sales Executive at Toptal, a freelance marketplace, where they developed business with enterprise clients and connected skilled software engineers and designers with progressive enterprises. Sid also held various positions at ThoughtWorks, a software design and delivery company, where they served as a Director in different market expansion roles in regions such as the Northeast and Southeast United States, South and Central America, and South Africa. Sid also worked as a Sales Director for the West Coast region.

Sid's work experience also includes roles at Premier Healthcare and Medicus as a Sales Director, and at Velocity Healthcare where they were the Founder and Vice President of Operations and Product Management. At Velocity Healthcare, Sid was responsible for managing all aspects of operations and product management for a healthcare startup. Sid played a key role in developing the corporate finance and operations infrastructure, establishing ancillary department infrastructure, and leading the product development team in creating innovative patient outcome reporting tools.

Earlier in their career, Sid worked as a Product Manager/Sales Engineer at Hospital Cost Consultants and as a Senior Manager at Andersen Consulting.

Throughout their career, Sid has demonstrated strong sales and marketing skills, business development expertise, and leadership capabilities in various industries including software consultancy, custom software solutions, freelance marketplace, healthcare, and consulting.

Sid Pinney attended Crawford High School from 1976 to 1980, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Following that, they pursued higher education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1980 to 1984, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering. Additionally, Sid Pinney has obtained several certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), including a Small Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Certificate in July 2017, a Certified Flight Instructor certification in June 2017, an Advanced Ground Instructor certification in January 2017, a Commercial Pilot Certificate for Single Engine Sea in August 2015, a Commercial Pilot Certificate for Single Engine Land in August 2010, an Instrument Rating Airplane certification in July 2010, and a Private Pilot Certificate in February 1979.
