Nathan Virag is a Staff Attorney at the Association of Africans living in Vermont since November 2021 and serves on the National Advisory Committee for Equal Justice Works since July 2020. Previous experience includes roles as a Legal Intern at the Greater Chicago Legal Clinic, Inc., and the ACLU of Illinois, as well as a Judicial Intern at Cook County Circuit Court. In academia, Nathan was a Research Assistant at UIC John Marshall Law School, focusing on LGBTQ reproductive resources and comparative law. Nathan holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, specializing in international relations, human rights, and immigration law, and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Northeastern Illinois University.
