Verna Williams

Verna Williams has extensive work experience in the field of law and access to justice. Verna is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Equal Justice Works, where they raise funds to support public interest jobs for law students and graduates. Prior to this role, Verna worked at the University of Cincinnati, where they held various positions including Dean and Nippert Professor of Law, Interim Dean, Judge Joseph P. Kinneary Professor of Law, Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor.

Verna Williams has a Bachelor of Science degree in Spanish, which they obtained from Georgetown University between 1978 and 1982. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a JD degree from Harvard Law School, attending from 1985 to 1988.
