Director People And Infrastructure at Equality and Human Rights Commission

Joe Corcos has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the public sector. Joe started their career at HM Revenue & Customs in 2008, where they held positions as a Senior HR & Learning Business Partner and later as Head of Organisational Development. In 2010, they became the Human Resources Director at HM Revenue & Customs, overseeing strategic resourcing and serving in that role until 2017. In 2017, they joined the Equality and Human Rights Commission as the Director of People and Infrastructure. In 2021, they moved to The Insolvency Service as an Independent Member of the People Committee, and in 2022, they joined Citizens Advice in the same capacity.

Joe Corcos attended The University of Manchester from 1984 to 1987, where they earned a 2.2 degree in Economics & Social Studies. Prior to that, from 1976 to 1983, they attended North Cestrian Grammar School in Altrincham, Cheshire, but did not earn a degree or specify a field of study.
