Don Walker

Don Walker has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Don started their career in the US Navy as a Submarine Reactor Control Chief from 2000 to 2006. Following that, they worked at Jabil as a Test Engineering from 2006 to 2008. Don then joined the Roman Catholic Diocese of St Petersburg as an Accountant from 2008 to 2010. After that, they worked at Lewis, Birch, & Ricardo LLC as an Auditor from 2010 to 2013. Subsequently, they took on the role of Schools Accounting (Contract) at the Roman Catholic Diocese of St Petersburg from 2013 to 2014. Don also served as a Financial Consultant at Metropolitan Wellness & Community Centers from 2013 to 2014. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Finance and Accounting at Equality Florida since 2014.

Don Walker earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2004, they obtained another Bachelor of Science degree, this time in Nuclear Engineering, from Thomas Edison State University. In 2014, Don also obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Florida Board of Accountancy.
