Mathew Joseph

Mathew Joseph is an experienced finance and sustainability executive with a diverse career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Operating Partner at Kinnevik AB since November 2003, Mathew has played key roles, including Sustainability Director and Group COO/CFO, where responsibilities included implementing finance strategies, overseeing the ESG approach, and restructuring operations for profitability. Mathew also holds advisory and board positions at several organizations, contributing to governance, compliance, and sustainability initiatives. Prior to Kinnevik, Mathew held managerial positions at PwC and has an academic background in Chartered Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai.
