Zara McDonald

Zara McDonald has had a diverse work experience, spanning various roles and industries. In 2015, they interned at Lloyds Banking Group in the commercial banking business management department. In 2016, they worked at ironSource as an ad operations manager and subsequently as a performance manager. The following year, they joined Amnet Programmatic Experts for Dentsu Aegis Network as a global campaign manager. In 2018, they joined Videology, Inc. as a platform consulting specialist. In 2019, they worked at ITV as a platform consulting specialist before joining Amobee as a technical account manager. Zara progressed to the role of senior technical account manager before becoming a solutions engineer for the EMEA region. Currently, they work at Equativ (formerly Smart) as the head of service for Northern Europe.

Zara McDonald began their education at Methodist College Belfast, where they attended high school from 2005 to 2012. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at Durham University from 2012 to 2015, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Following their undergraduate studies, Zara continued their education at the University of Bath from 2021 to 2023. During this period, they earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science.
