Joyce Yao

Joyce Yao's work experience includes a variety of roles in product management and leadership positions. Joyce currently works at Equilibrium Energy as the Director of Product Management, having joined the company in 2021 as a Staff Product Manager. Prior to that, Joyce had positions at Shell, where they served as a Product Manager for the Shell Energy Platform and held internships as a Product Manager MBA Intern in both the Shell Energy Platform and New Energies divisions. Before Shell, they were a Clean Energy Leadership Institute Fellow at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute. Joyce also worked at Opower as a Manager of Client Success and at Zocdoc in roles as a Product Specialist in Enterprise Sales and Senior Dedicated Advisor in Enterprise Account Management. Joyce began their career as an Energy Associate at Environment America and worked as a Dedicated Advisor and Research Analyst at The Advisory Board Company.

Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Rice University in 2010, with a focus on History and Environmental Policy.
