Kate Piscopo

Kate Piscopo is a Staff Data Scientist at Equilibrium Energy since September 2024. Prior to this role, Kate served as a Senior Data Scientist at Stem, Inc. from June 2020 to July 2024, leading a technical team for a wholesale market bidding engine product that enhanced the market participation of energy storage assets. Earlier experience includes roles at AMS where Kate was a Data Scientist and Senior Energy Analyst focused on battery energy storage projects, and as an Energy Analyst at Tierra Resource Consultants LLC, advising clients on energy efficiency and sustainability. Kate also conducted research on life cycle assessments at Berkeley Lab and contributed to biofuels research at the University of California, Berkeley.
