Kevin Thames

Kevin Thames is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in sales and leadership roles within the technology and data center sectors. Currently, Kevin serves as the Director on the Board of Directors for the Equinix Foundation since April 2023. At Equinix, where employment began in May 2011, Kevin has held multiple positions including Vice President of Americas Channel, and has been a leading figure in initiatives such as Equinix BlackConnect. Prior roles include account and global management positions at SUNGARD, SAVVIS, e^Deltacom, VIA NET.WORKS USA, Cable & Wireless, and GTE Internetworking, demonstrating a consistent track record of driving revenue growth and fostering strategic partnerships. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management of Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
