Mei Zhang

Mei Zhang currently serves as the Manager of Commercial Solutions at Equinix since August 2022, bringing extensive experience from China Telecom Americas, where roles included Deputy Director of Strategic Accounts and Deputy Director of Solutions, Vendor Management and Pricing from August 2009 to August 2022. Expertise includes in-depth knowledge of IDC products and the internal operations of Chinese telecom operators and major US data center providers. Previously, in a senior management role, Mei Zhang oversaw a sourcing team, developed vendor partnerships, negotiated contracts, and managed key accounts. Education includes a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics & Statistics and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics & Economics, both from Stony Brook University.
